Cityzenith CEO and Co-Founder Michael Jansen has made the Global Excellence Awards Top 40 CEOs list for 2021, ending the year with high praise for the inspiration he has provided the global business and entrepreneurship community.

The GlobalExcellence Awards celebrates the best business leaders throughout the year and is powered by Excellence talks, a platform that publishes inspiring and authentic content for viewers to create value for everyone who wants to find a higher purpose. A global audience nominated all this year’s winners.

The annual awards list places Jansen alongside some of the biggest names within business and entrepreneurship, including Unilever CEO Alan Jope, Hint Water CEO and Founder Kara Goldin, and VaynerX Chairman Gary Vaynerchuk.

Jansen led Cityzenith during the launch of its ‘Clean Cities – Clean Future’ initiative to implement its SmartWorldOS Digital Twin platform in major world cities to drive down urban emissions. New York, Phoenix and Las Vegas all signed up in 2021, with many more international cities expected to follow in 2022.

“I’m very proud of Cityzenith and the success of ‘Clean Cities – Clean Future’ in 2021, and I can’t wait to see what 2022 brings for the company.”
