Datt Capital is a predominantly-focused equity fund that specialises in identifying the high growth and special situations across multiple asset classes.
It seeks to identify high growth and special situation opportunities within Australian markets, with no institutional constraints. The Fund aims to exploit informational, analytical, behavioural, and structural edges in higher prediction environments over time to capture right tail risk.
UNIQUE INVESTING METHODOLOGY
The Datt Capital Absolute Return Fund deploys a long-only investment approach that focuses on absolute wealth accumulation over time.
The Fund implements a differentiated investment approach that provides the flexibility to invest across multiple asset classes, which can be used to tailor the fund’s exposure to volatile equity markets. The investments with the Absolute Return Fund can be grouped into three main areas:
- Growth companies & special situations
- Value reversion & cyclical opportunities
- Real assets & income securities

- Since inception, Datt Capital has achieved 53% return, with an annual compound return of 13.01% p.a. (as at 31/1/2022).

THE OFFER
The Fund is open to investments from qualifying wholesale or sophisticated investors only.
The Fund reviews and accepts investments on a monthly basis, and will ‘hard close’ once funds under management (FUM) reaches $300M.
The Fund will distribute its available income on a quarterly basis, and investors can elect to receive cash or reinvest into the Absolute Return Fund.
