What a great week for business startup Klymat and its sustainable business mobility proposition as it embarks on its first round of private equity fundraising.

It simultaneously joins the Priceless Planet Coalition, a MasterCard initiative to replant 100 million trees by 2025 to repair the harm caused by senseless deforestation in many parts of the world.

Klymat joins a fast-growing consortium of like-minded corporations, financial institutions, digital partners and SMEs – all aiming to put the needs of future generations at the head of their corporate to-do list to help repair the harm already done to our planet.

“MasterCard has recognised the power and contribution Klymat will make as it works with global organisations to help them reduce their carbon footprint,” says company founder Tony Donnelly.

Mastercard announced its platform to unite corporate sustainability efforts and make meaningful investments to preserve the environment on 17 Jan 2020.

“It coincided with the initial development of Klymat’s business model to help organisations in public and private sectors reduce their carbon emissions.  Klymat similarly has an expanding network of key partners to support its value proposition focused on managing employee travel and transport needs.”

Klymat will contribute to the Coalition’s reforestation initiatives worldwide whenever and wherever their clients use their Klymat corporate Mastercard.

Reinventing the Condom: How an Australian Deep-Tech Startup Plans to Disrupt a $12 Billion Market

For more than half a century, the global condom industry has remained fundamentally unchanged, constrained by standard materials like latex and solid synthetic polymers.
