To start with, beNEXT has focussed on the property industry. In just a few months beNEXT has built strong momentum working with property professionals:

  • Promising trial with the Barry Plant real estate franchise group – beNEXT has extended and expanded a paid product trial with a number of franchise offices, ahead of a broader rollout in coming months.
  • An exciting partnership with a prominent, Australia wide law firm – This innovative collaboration, will have beNEXT deliver branded property contract IP through their platform, facilitating real estate transactions nationally.
  • Deal signed with a U.S. property lender – beNEXT has signed a ‘discovery phase’ deal with an innovative U.S. firm, Urban Gate Capital. The goal is to use the SmartLegal platform to support contracting processes for mortgages in the U.S. This includes automating financial transactions, using digital currencies.
  • Next steps: working with more real estate franchise groups and conveyancers – beNEXT is in discussions with real estate agency groups and conveyancing businesses, to create a seamless connection between real estate agents, vendors, conveyancers and buyers through the SmartLegal platform.

About beNEXT

beNEXT uses Smart Legal Contract technology to solve real problems for people and businesses, starting with the property industry.

Agreements have been around for millennia. Signed in blood, sealed with wax, printed on paper or emailed via PDF. Now contracts are software, simplifying the connections between people, the information that is exchanged and the commerce that flows.

beNEXT has developed a multi-party smart contracts platform that simplifies workflows in an easy to use app.

Early on, beNEXT identified property transactions, with their long chains of activity and many people involved, as broken. So, they signed a channel partnership with the Real Estate Institute of Victoria, replacing all the traditional leasing and sales PDF forms used by +4,000 member agents. The secure solution makes it all transparent, speeding up the process and minimises errors.

The listing fee vendors pay whether the house sells or not

Australia’s property portals collect more than $2 billion a year while national listings sit flat. An Australian-built AI platform is targeting the economics, not just the interface. An Australian vendor listing a home pays a vendor-paid advertising fee on top of agency commission. Rama Dwarapudi, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of RealSearch, puts a typical […]

Reinventing the Condom: How an Australian Deep-Tech Startup Plans to Disrupt a $12 Billion Market

For more than half a century, the global condom industry has remained fundamentally unchanged, constrained by standard materials like latex and solid synthetic polymers. Despite widespread consumer demand for better alternatives, product design has treated the device strictly as a mechanical barrier, sacrificing feel for function. Sydney-based Eudaemon Technologies is setting out to upend that […]
