“Thanks to the scalability of our solution, despite COVID, 2020 was the best year for CropX since inception. We quadrupled our revenues, signed a strategic deal with irrigation giant Reinke, acquired two competing companies and deployed our systems in 25 new countries during the year. Furthermore, during this year, CropX bypassed 10,000 systems installed globally cumulatively, with over 1,250 customers in over 40 different countries.
We look forward to an even more exciting 2021.”
Tomer Tzach, CEO, CropX Technologies Ltd
CropX is an Ag-analytics company that revolutionised and automated the farm decision-making process by developing the world’s first and only farm management platform based on real-time soil data measured by proprietary self-installable soil sensors.
Since 2018, CropX has deployed over 10,000 systems, serving over 1,250 paying customers from 40 different countries and has demonstrated 50% water savings with up to 20% yield increase across different crop types.
Despite COVID, in 2020, CropX quadrupled its 2019 sales YoY, acquired Nebraska-based competitor CropMetrics, acquired New-Zealand-based competitor ReGen, partnered with irrigation giant Reinke and opened offices in Australia, New Zealand and Mexico.
Backed by a world-class syndicate of strategic investors, including Google’s Eric Schmidt, Finistere Ventures, Sumitomo, Flex, Bosch and many others, CropX raised an oversubscribed B-round, now extended to support making additional acquisitions prior to its forthcoming Series C, planned for 2022.
CropX was selected to present to Chancellor Merkel, selected as Top 5 Farm management platforms by ForwardFooding, mentioned by AgFunder as the AgTech market consolidator, and received many additional awards and global recognition.
