30 April 2018 – SkyHopper by Mobilicom Limited is pleased to announce it has secured a new design win with UAV manufacturer Clogworks Technologies Limited.

Clogworks is a UK manufacturer with in-house expertise to design and manufacture unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) intended for the security and surveillance applications.

The new design win will see SkyHopper PROV and SkyHopper PRO integrated into Clogworks’ Dark Matter® hX platform. Dark Matter® hX comes with a fully autonomous navigation capability coupled with long flight times and powerful Smart-AP-Clogworks mission planning software that make it perfect for ultra-long-range missions.

This marks the ninth design win for SkyHopper, now exceeding its first-year target plan of eight. It positions the company for important market share in the growing commercial and industrial drone sector.

“We chose to equip our Dark Matter® hX drones with SkyHopper by Mobilicom products. They are the perfect combination of a small form factor and a wide range of operation. We are also very pleased with the close support given to us by the Mobilicom team”, said Peter Opdam, Clogworks’ CEO & Founder.

Mobilicom CEO Oren Elkayam commented: “This is our first design win in the UK, further expanding SkyHopper’s global presence and positioning. We are happy to deliver SkyHopper’s holistic approach to the UK and to continue the relationship with Clogworks as they win key accounts in the UK and the US.”
