KEY TAKEAWAYS:

  • $2 million in sales in last 3 months of 2017
  • First simulator sale to an airline
  • Certified simulator sold to University of South Australia
  • Flight Experience network expands to 19 locations

Pacific Simulators has had a busy end to 2017 with 5 sales, both training and entertainment, since October. A significant development has been the sale of a training simulator to Bolivian Airlines, who run a small fleet of Boeing 737’s. Whilst several airlines have been using Pacsim simulators, Bolivian is the first to purchase one for their own specific needs, and marks an important step in the acceptance of our products for the airline training market.

Two training products have been sold to UniSA in Adelaide and Ardmore Flying School in Auckland, NZ. Both devices will be used to expand the training capabilities for commercial pilots.Pacsim is also in the final stages of closing another Australian-based airline sale and another NZ flight school.

Flight Experience will also expand to a total of 19 outlets by mid 2018 with sales to Amana Entertainment Group in Qatar and a Chinese property company based in Tangshan. Since presenting at the Wholesale Investor November luncheon, Pacsim has attracted interest from a number of parties and is continuing discussions with them for investment. Investment is required to take the next step in airline certification of the Airbus A320 and Boeing 737 simulators.
