Alcidion Group Limited (ASX:ALC), the health informatics platform, shares the latest news of acquiring Oncall Systems Limited. Alcidion’s Miya platform ties up with Smartpage, a cloud based, clinical suite for health professionals by Oncall Systems Ltd.

The acquisition leads to a strengthened mission in providing world-class high technology performance catering the Australian and New Zealand consumers. With Oncall famously known for its advancement in clinical messaging system and mobility management for hospital and unified healthcare branches, creating a multitasking three series of software modules suited for communicating with the clinical, orderly and emergency notifications and delivery through the Cloud.

Miya platform performs as a creative decision intelligence system from Alcidion aids quality assurance and exemplary performance in healthcare management for cloud based analysis and support for decision-making. Designed specifically to centralize all necessary information from vast, conglomerated hospital systems. One strong feature of the Miya platform denotes its smooth integration ability to synchronise with other softwares easily. Resulting to Alcidion’s boosting flexibility quality to work alongside with smartpage provision of extra features and improvements with Miya Patient Flow and Miya Access, a patient bed management system.

The agreement with Oncall is based of two elements, an initial upfront cash payment of NZ$750,000 and a purchase price uplift from a 2x multiplier of Oncall’s performance revenue within the initial eighteen months under ownership of Alcidion. It is capped at a full additional payment of NZ$2.25M with a combined cash of 40% and 60% scrip.

This acquisition will also enhance Alcidion’s presence in the New Zealand market and enable us to offer our broad suite of base. Ultimately, Alcidion and Oncall have been created with a common goal to improve patient safety and staff productivity in a clinical setting”, as stated by Alcidion’s Chairman and CEO, Mr. Ray Blight.

Dr. Aidan Gill, Oncall’s founder and Managing Director will gain an employment contract as well with Alcidion providing restraint conditions and at least a term of 3 years of service to the company. Dr. Gill finished his medicine degree at the Auckland University, remarkably having won the Martin Stafford prize for Academic Excellence.
