Our New Look
As we move closer in our mission to develop the world’s largest storehouse for genome and precision medicine data, we’re excited to announce the launch of our new website. This new site is aimed at elevating our presence in the healthcare technology space and better positions us for moving forward with multiple initiatives across a spectrum of stakeholders.
We will be making multiple small upgrades in the near term to our new site as we aim to release our proof-of-concept and provide exciting updates about our pilot work in India and other projects.
Chance to Test First Platform Component With Us
Our busy developer team is just about to release the first version of one of the proof-of-concept test modules, and we’re giving a select number of community members the chance to help test this with us. Those selected will help to provide people around the world with a world-class product and create meaningful change to the healthcare ecosystem.
The test module, which is part of a larger testing of individual software modules or components that make up our Shivom healthcare ecosystem, will go live very soon for a limited audience of up to 100 users. All you have to do is tell us in the Telegram group or email [email protected] to let us know your interest to help test this module. The community testers will be randomly selected and privately messaged, along with instructions to login to the test module. Not to miss, OMX tokens will be rewarded for thorough analysis and feedback!
Stay tuned for more information about this and other upcoming test bounty programs coming soon!
Our Genomics Initiative in India
We are also super excited to move forward with our goals to generate datasets for diseases with genetic susceptibility in developing economies. In September we will be starting our first of a series of trials in the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh, located in the southeastern part of the subcontinent. One focus will be on diabetes, as the country is facing an epidemic of this disease. According to the WHO, India tops the list of countries with the highest number of diabetics, and by 2030, nearly 9% of the India’s population is likely to be affected from the disease that is also referred to as ‘silent killer’.
With our partners and service providers for genomic sequencing, phenotypic data collection and artificial intelligence (AI) growing and supporting us, we are excited about the opportunities to come. We would especially like to thank the people of Andhra Pradesh for welcoming us back with such open arms and giving us their permission for this. We will share more updates on this project soon.
Connect with us, ask us questions and share your opinion with us over our social media channels to stay updated on this and everything else we are working on!
