Power Ledger’s POWR Tokens have been ranked 72nd on the ‘Top 100 Cryptocurrencies” currently available in the market. The Western Australian company secured $34 million in their initial coin offering (ICO) in October 2017. POWR has had a positive performance, gaining a high of $1.90 in the first months of the company’s official launch. Power Ledger recently acquired a partnership with Silicon Valley Power and will commence their first project revolving around carbon credit. The relationship formed because of a previous partnership with Clean Energy Blockchain Network (CEBN) that lead to collaboration with Silicone Valley Power.

Power Ledger is a peer-to-peer blockchain service for renewable energy and marketplace where the token can purchase and sell energy. The market allows users who own excess energy to sell their energy to interested parties for commercial and residential purposes at competitive prices. Power Ledger has now completed a milestone by acquiring these new partnerships and will now focus on offering and expanding its computing power to enable cost-effective Low Carbon Fuel Standard transactions. With
POWR providing a cheaper and faster carbon credit transaction, Power Ledger can now promote the functionality and integration of the blockchain technology.
