Glen Slater – Chief Executive Officer
We’re very pleased to welcome Peter Lee to our board of directors, and Andy Matheson to the executive team.
Peter has deep experience with high growth companies in the United States, a major market for Cirrus. He spent 30 years of his career in the US including 15 years as Vice President of Corporate R&D for International Paper Company, with its global research centre in New York. Peter brings additional skills in governance, innovation, deep-tech commercialisation and business strategy.
Peter holds the position of New Zealand’s Chief Defence Technologist and the Thompson medal from the Royal Society for his contributions to the commercialisation of science in New Zealand. He is also currently Adjunct Professor at the Auckland University Business School.
Andy is an experienced business development executive and senior PE and VC investment manager. Andy was an Energy & Infrastructure investment executive at PE firm HRL Morrison & Co. Previously, as Managing Director of Nature’s Flame he built an innovative corporate venture into a $50m revenue contributor. At Cirrus he will help grow client revenues as VP Global Business Development.
