Mobilicom has successfully completed a proof of concept (POC) field trial with the Czech police force using their Mobilicom Communication Units (MCUs). The units were embedded into police vests to demonstrate how police can effectively handle an emergency event without disrupted communication.
The units used in the trial work off Mobilicom’s mobile MESH technology which is a fully connected network that can connect even in harsh conditions. The units deployed offer police a private and secured 4G network to allow for synchronised communication solution for underground operations without the need for GPS. Police around the world have struggled
without a communication system such as the MCUs. They allow for emergency services to handle emergency events and make decisions based on the observations made over large geographical areas.
By applying this solution, Mobilicom has addressed a new market for a variety of applications. The technology has operational applications such as mining teams working underground, firefighting rescue teams, delivery warehouses, and for police operations. The POC trial demonstrated the complete solution for operation teams to work underground
effectively. Their success puts Mobilicom in a solid position for national deployment. The negotiations with system integrator for the Czech Republic police for nations engagement is underway.
