London DE are proud to announce the launch of the industry blog and news channel, Luxury Commentator:

Luxury Commentator will combine industry opinion and comment across the entire luxury market with in depth analysis of the gemstone and jewellery sector in particular.  We will produce some of the content in house but we aim to encourage journalists and other industry stakeholders to participate as much as possible, to give a rounded view.  Luxury Commentator will engage with its audience via the major social media platforms as well as its SEO optimised, interactive website.  We are already in talks with potential contributors from the world of jewellery, fashion, classic cars and antiques, both in the UK and overseas.  We see this as a crucial step in providing a level of informative education and understanding to our customers and potential customers worldwide, drawing attention to and discussing the major issues of our times, including responsible sourcing, ethics and environmentally sustainable practices.

London DE is the UK’s leading bespoke jeweller specialising in coloured gemstones, with unique relationships at the very top of the gemstone supply chains.  We focus on the ‘big three’ (ruby, sapphire, emerald), as well as diamond.  We have recently taken on new staff with Chinese, Spanish and French language skills in order to expand our international focus across countries and territories that have hitherto not been targeted by our major competitors.  We employ a ‘clicks-and-bricks’ business model, combining the functionality of an eCommerce website with a team of sales consultants and a sales office in the heart of central London’s Hatton Garden jewellery district.  Our hybrid approach enables us to win sales both business to business and business to consumer, whilst maintaining healthy margins and low fixed costs.

The Company specialises in sourcing diamonds, emeralds, rubies, sapphires and other coloured stones for sale to both the wholesale and retail markets.
