Kazia Therapeutics Limited (ASX: KZA; NASDAQ: KZIA), an Australian oncology-focused biotechnology company, is pleased to announce the results of its Annual General Meeting of shareholders.

Almost 40% of the issued share capital was voted in this AGM, which is an extremely high turnout, and each of the resolutions were passed by a very decisive margin, with approximately 90% of shares voted in favour of each resolution. Kazia has an exciting year ahead, with four value-driving data read-outs from human trials expected, and we continue to be grateful for the support of our investors.”

TRX-E-002-1 is currently undergoing a phase I clinical trial in Australia and the United States. Initial data was presented in June 2018 and the study remains ongoing. Cantrixil was granted orphan designation for ovarian cancer by the US FDA in April 2015.
