Geocon reaffirmed its position as Canberra’s premier property developer and most identifiable brand in 2019, releasing and building more than 2000 new apartments to the market, across 10 projects.

Since its beginnings in 2007, Geocon has emerged as an Australian leader in integrated property development, construction and hotel management, with focus on residential apartments and hotel development in Canberra. The company is firmly committed to improving the standard of living for people in Canberra through well-considered, high density living options which bring people’s homes closer to where they need to be.

Geocon’s cranes now populate the skyline across all corners of Canberra, with projects complete, underway or due to start imminently in Gungahlin, Woden, Belconnen, the City and Tuggeranong. In the coming year Geocon will begin work on more precinct-style living options for Canberrans with construction set to start at the Kingston Arts Precinct and WOVA in Woden.

These city-defining projects complement Geocon’s ever-growing hotel offering under the Iconic Hotel banner, with premium offerings in Garema Place and West Block, also due to being soon.

Geocon’s strategic approach is to address the housing shortage in Canberra through high-quality, affordable dwellings which are built close to people’s work, social networks and places their like to spend free time. Geocon has proven excellence in building precincts which achieve both form and function, with more people choosing to live in a Geocon-built apartment than any other product on the market in 2018.
