Ecocentric raise to be completed by 30 November

Ecocentric has successfully completed an initial production run of its cutting-edge technology devices, The Numen System, to support trials in both Australia and the UK. Following this run, three partners have now bee confirmed; McDonald’s; Insurance Australia Group; and Drax Group PLC.

 

 

With $11.5m AUD invested to date, Ecocentric has built the business that is now poised to launch and has successfully created a readily available market with a global reach across Australia, the UK and the EU as trials are commencing.

Ecocentric has created a strategy imposed by a team of creative, open and focused people.

Who are Ecocentric?

Tim Bray: CEO

  • Tim was once an aspiring marine scientist who has worked in government, the energy sector and business.
  • He has learnt many useful lessons from his wide variety of job roles which have helped him to navigate the highly dynamic world of Ecocentric.

Paul Lyons: Director

  • Paul started as an electrical apprentice for the Ford Motor Company, his career evolved and he moved on to work with many other companies such as British Airways and eventually as a senior service technician for several of the Formula One racing teams.
  • Having developed an obsession with sustainability, Paul then started to work on conceptual design.
  • One of these early designs was Numen which he developed to extract this highly granular data to form part of an energy auditing process.

Russell Wilson: Director

  • Russ’s first break into the world of renewable energy came in 1990 when he was employed by the Murdoch University Energy Research Institute as an information officer at the Solar Energy Information Centre.
  • Since inception in 2010, Russ has lead the Catalyst program tasked with bringing together various organisations and energy efficiency solutions by utilising Numen Data.

Ross Waring: Chairman/Non Executive Director

  • Ross’s career, spanning three decades and three continents, commenced in Australia in Mechanical Engineering in power generation and energy management, before moving to the UK to focus on Oil & Gas equipment design and manufacture.
  • After 4 years as a Volunteer Engineer in Central America, Ross completed his MSc and PhD Engineering studies at London’s Imperial College in novel power generations and hybrid vehicle

Gary Thorniley: Non Executive Director

  • Gary has a career spanning agricultural science at CSIRO and Department of Agriculture (now Department of Primary Industries and Regional Development), technical and business advice, marketing and financial services.
  • Gary is currently a Senior Private Client Advisor at Morgans Financial in Perth.
  • Gary holds a B.Sc. (Agric) from the University of WA, a Grad.Dip.Bus, Grad.Dip.FP and is a CFP.

Ecocentric have been featured on a number of media platforms including; Coincast TV, a new show on Sky Business News.

The Innovative technology company has also attended multiple events in the last few months including Wholesale Investor’s Technology and Crypto Convention, and are proud to announce that the Committee for Economic Development of Australia (CEDA) invited Ecocentric CEO Tim Bray to discuss how innovation in the energy sector will contribute to the security of supply.
