Cutting Edge “Anti-Impalement Cap” solves contractors’ challenge

BIP Company, LLC., USA has announced the introduction and release of a new “Anti-Impalement Cap” for vertical rebar applications.
On any building job site, protecting workers from serious injury and even death from exposed vertical rebar is an industry hazard. CAL/OSHA determines safety standards on all products used in this application. CAL/OSHA requires approved caps to be placed on exposed vertical reinforcing bar to prevent potential impalement from falls onto it. The BIP patent-pending cap incorporates an industry- first design by using horizontal fins allowing the cap to grip the rebar securely to be used repeatedly without dislodging from the vertical rebar, as is common with most other caps on the market. The AIC will complement the company’s expanding product line for the building professional and the DIYer.
The new BIP Anti-Impalement Cap, (‘AIC’), originates from BIP Company, LLC., USA, a leading-edge manufacturer of innovative, time and cost-effective, eco-friendly products for the construction industry. Products include rebar support chairs used in flat concrete slabs, tilt-up chairs used in tilt-up wall construction, sandplate extensions, and round post fence brackets used to support “H” sections of fence lines, and a drywall ‘dimpler’ tool. Additional new products are in various design phases with product debuts expected in 2014. The company has established itself in the market by creating and manufacturing “better mouse traps” to assist contractors optimise job performance.
