Anteo Diagnostics Ltd : European Office to grant Use of Metals Complexes Patent

17 August 2012: Anteo Diagnostics Limited (ASX: ADO) is pleased to announce that the European Patent Office (EPO) has notified the company that it intends to grant the “Use of Metal Complexes” patent for Anteo’s Mix&Go? technology.
There are many commercially important reasons to bind biological molecules onto synthetic materials. These molecules are often fragile and do not react well when exposed to non-biological conditions. The “Use of Metal Complexes” patent covers the intellectual property (IP) for the use of Mix&Go? to facilitate this important binding process.
The “Use of Metal Complexes” patent for Mix&Go? technology is expected to be granted within three months.
