New hypo alarm to give young people with type 1 diabetes a safer night’s sleep. For the first time young people with type 1 diabetes have the opportunity for a safer night’s sleep with the world’s most rigorously tested non-invasive nocturnal hypo alarm system, the HypoMon®.
After a decade in development by AIMEDICS, the ground breaking HypoMon is being release via key diabetes hospitals in the UK for use by people with type 1 diabetes aged between 10 and 25 years. Its release follows clinical trials showing that the simple and easy-to-use HypoMon accurately identifies more sleep-time hypoglycaemia (hypos) than other continuous monitoring systems currently available.
