Surf Lakes Completes $500k Capital Raise

Surf Lakes Limited has invented a revolutionary, proprietary method of produce high quality surfing waves in a controlled lake environment. The Surf Lakes™ technology will be capable of producing a variety of waves that closely mimic natural ocean waves. Furthermore, because of the way Surf Lakes works, not only will it have the lowest energy cost per wave compared to other technologies, but be capable of producing up to 2,400 surfable waves per hour. This is over 20 times more than any current or proposed wave technology around the world.

The company have built several large prototypes and will soon commence construction of a full scale lake in 2017.

Brisbane based Surf Lakes, who is building Australia’s first artificial surf park, recently completed their latest capital raise. They successfully raised $500k at $0.90c per share. As they move into the construction phase for the full scale surf park, located in QLD, they have launched their latest capital raising round.

Wayne Dart appointed as Media Director

Surf Lakes has appointed Wayne Dart as Media Director. Wayne has over 20 years’ experience in the Surfing industry, and has worked across all aspects of the surfing media. In 2005 he was the Media Director for ASP (now WSL). Prior to that he was the manager of Tracks magazine and numerous other action sports titles.
