Atomo Diagnostic Annual Update 2016; US$3.4M Equity Raise & Grant from Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation

Atomo Diagnostics is a multi-award winning and rapidly growing medical device company that has developed and commercialised AtomoRapid™,the world’s first integrated device for blood based immunoassay rapid diagnostic testing in point of care settings.  Atomo had many success to celebrate during 2016;

• They successfully secured capital during 2016 via an equity raise for US$3.4m, with the Global Health Investment Fund (GHIF). Additionally the company secured a further US$2.6m in from non-dilutive grant funding from the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation.
• Atomo also entered agreements to supply award-winning, AtomoRapid devices to other diagnostics company’s.
• These two deals involving a French and a Mexican company are expected to generate more than US$5M in product revenues over the life of the contracts.
