Simon Baker (former CEO of realestate.com.au) and Wholesale Investor complete a series of investor evenings

SYDNEY, MELBOURNE AUSTRALIA – On Tuesday 23rd and Wednesday 24th October, Australia’s leading private investment platform Wholesale Investor, in association with principal support partners PwC and Thomson Reuters, hosted the Simon Baker Investor Evening, which was a unique event showcasing 4 of Simon Baker’s investee companies.
Simon Baker has been recognised as one of the most successful CEO’s in Australia when he turned around the REA Group (realestate.com.au) between 2001 and 2008. Not only did he take the market cap from $8m to a high of over $900m within 7 years, but he also built an equity stake worth in excess of $15m.
Simon is now an investor into high growth online companies and these events showcased 4 of his investee companies to potential investors.
