On 8th March 2013 Relivit received its first tax refund under the R&D Tax Incentive program, worth $122,000 from the financial year 2011/12. This refund reinforces the fact that Relivit is developing its own IP through research and development. Relivit hopes that future R&D will also be recognised for this financial year and the next, especially as the company works towards opening its first plant near Sydney in 2014.

And in a recent move, NSW Environment Minister Robyn Parker unveiled a new waste and recycling agenda for NSW which includes a $465.7 million five‐year recycling funding initiative and improvements to the waste levy system.
