Cloud DC’s flagship product OfficeBox gives you the tools to take your entire Office IT environment anywhere, any time and on any device. This has been now proven even more so with Cloud DC today announcing that OfficeBox also runs seamlessly on the new Amazon Kindle Fire HD.
Gavin Keeley, CTO of Cloud DC is pleased to confirm that OfficeBox runs brilliantly on the Kindle Fire HD. “It’s our unique selling point that we can run OfficeBox on any device, so that means I am testing on new technology all the time as it hits the market. We have just about every smart tablet, smart phone, laptop and even PC to run OfficeBox on. It’s fantastic that I get all the latest tech gadgets to play with just so we can claim to run OfficeBox on any device”, Gavin Keeley said.
OfficeBox has been currently running a rigorous Beta trial with a number of committed resellers and end customers. With a full commercial launch date of November 1, 2013 fast approaching, the Cloud DC’s development team are in full swing ramping up the full production site.
With the “Office Box” App Store you can tailor your IT environment right down to the individual employee. The App Store allows you to ‘pick and choose’ different software apps for different staff and bundles it all into one ‘cost per seat’ per month.
Cloud DC has demonstrated OfficeBox running on the Kindle Fire HD to a number of people inside Amazon Web Services and have received rave reviews. It is expected that a technology breakthrough like this will be well received by Amazon who are soon to launch the Kindle Fire HD in Australia. Cloud DC is working towards leveraging the launch in Australia of the Kindle Fire HD with the launch of OfficeBox.
Cloud DC has a network of resellers already committed to the full commercial launch of OfficeBox and is in continuing discussions with a couple of major telecommunications companies as well as a number of other interested distributors for Australia. Cloud DC has global aspirations and is currently courting series “A” funders to make that happen.
