The COVID-19 pandemic has impacted almost every aspect of aviation, and when international flights resume, passengers can expect a number of significant changes.

As part of this “new norm”, as travel restrictions are removed, the SkyBuys platform and app will provide passengers with a powerful digital and contactless transaction solution when they shop for duty free during their travels.

And Sydney Airport is forecast to be the busiest international airport in the region. Working with the airport’s concessionaire Heinemann, SkyBuys will ramp up marketing with a variety of offers through its app.

Lockdown has provided SkyBuys with the opportunity to progress its Airbus project, where the world’s leading aircraft manufacturer with over 150 airline clients, now have already demonstrated the application to airline customers.

SkyBuys will continue to work with Airbus as the SkyPaas project moves from testing to live application. Additionally, SkyBuys has secured trial projects with a number of world leading brands, as well as a number of additional retail projects and has also secured a revenue-share agreement in the US with the global travel industry’s leading market research group.
