World sprint champion Lion Martinez joins Shivom Innovation Council

Lion Martinez – the 100 metre world sprint champion – has joined Shivom Innovation Council as its members and advisor.

With experience in marketing, Lion will play a key role as Shivom role out solutions in the athletic space.

The sports initiative will use state-of-the-art genomics and AI algorithms to develop science-based programmes to make people fitter and perform on a higher level.

The programme seeks to identify a genetic bases to what makes an athlete an athlete and turn the data into meaningful insight for sports-fitness individuals whom are interested trying new innovative and evidence-based training programmes to improve their efficiencies.

Shivom travelled far and wide to speak across the globe this month:

• Henry Ines (CEO, Shivom) attended the Precision Medicine World Conference 2019. Held at Santa Clara Convention Center, Silicon Valley in California during January 20-23, the event connected like-minded individuals spanning healthcare professionals, researchers, academicians and investors.
• Similarly, Dr Axel Schumacher (CSO, Shivom) spoke on Blockchain Applications for Pharma at Sixth R&D Data Intelligence Leaders Forum 2019. Held in Basel, Switzerland during January 23- 25, the event was organised by NextLevel Life Sciences – a leading, strategic business information provider and opportunity facilitator for the international life sciences industry. The event gave a window to speak with various leaders in the healthcare sector and widespread Shivom’s mission and vision with them.
• Gourish Singla, co-founder and CSO, Shivom attended the World Economic Forum Annual Meeting at Davos-Klosters, Switzerland during January 22-25. During the meeting, he met some of our partners and community members.
