Tatau, the world’s first distributed supercomputing platform for artificial intelligence wins 4 international awards

Tatau, supplier of the world’s first blockchain-based distributed supercomputer for Artificial Intelligence, won four international awards and competitions with tech investors and industry experts this year.

The awards recognised Tatau’s  team, product, market opportunity, business model, and existing traction as key attributes that make it a standout.

They were awarded as the winner in both The Startup World Cup Regional Finals — UAE and The Grand Slam Pitch Competition.

Tatau Co-Founder, Martyn Levy, said that Tatau ‘relished’ the chance to present their company to a global panel of tech experts.

The World Blockchain Summit is a global series of events connecting technology start-ups with governments, investors and world-leading developers.

Tatau beat 17 other finalists from all over the world.

The company was also announced as the winner of the ‘Rising Star’ award winner at the Technology Investment Network (TIN) awards held in Auckland.

This award recognises promising TIN companies that are in an early stage of the company life cycle.

Tatau topped a field of 20 international ventures to take out the win at the Malta Blockchain Summit event, which was attended by 8,500 tech developers, investors and industry experts from all over the world.

The company will work with FaceMe, a company creating AI-powered ‘digital humans’ to put a human face on customer service chatbots, to access greater compute capacity at a more commercially viable price point, enabling it to accelerate its innovation.

The duo will work together to create a template for applying computation techniques to large-scale commercial AI problems.

Tatau, have appointed 3 new staff members this year, Andrew Fraser – Co-Founder & CEO, Josh Webb – Chief Product Officer and Phoenix Zerin – VP Engineering.
