Cryptocurrency startup TravelbyBit has secured a $3.5 million investment from one of the world’s biggest crypto-exchanges, Binance.

Binance has a reach of $1 billion valuation and has $10 million users globally.

The Binance Coin will become the fourth cryptocurrency payment form used on the TravelbyBit payment platform.

The two companies will work together to introduce cryptocurrencies into more airports across the world.

TravelbyBit are already trialling their platform across four airports, including Brisbane Airport, and two airlines.

This collaboration allows people to use cryptocurrencies at over 30 retail stores in the airport and book holidays.

TravelbyBit Co-Founder, Caleb Yeoh said that the investment partnership is a ‘fantastic endorsement.
