tagSpace Releases AR Walking Tours Product

tagSpace is excited to announce the release of their new Augmented-Reality Walking Tours product, discovAR™. Built on the back of their software platform, tagStorm™, discovAR will service new verticals including:
- Universities – for college Campus Tours
- Corporates – for teambuilding Scavenger Hunts
- Tourism – for self-guided walking tours
The following is example usage of the product to power university campus walking tours. There is a clear gap in the market as the current offering is either a 360 virtual video or self-guided tours using printed PDF maps.
Our initial targets are the over 1,000 colleges in the US with Y1 target of 10% of these colleges.
This alone is a $3M business opportunity but our platform is scalable and built for Generation Z who are digital natives, wanting authentic and unique experiences on their own terms.
We offer Colleges a turnkey solution to bring their campus to life through AR storytelling and digital wayfinding, guiding students around POIs and offering call-to-actions such as direct student inquiries through the App. We are currently conducting discovery meetings in June/July and will have more detail on this opportunity in the coming months.
The AR mobile market is already set to exceed $120B by 2023 and combined with our “Experience” product, we will be able to capture a significant portion of most industries that will need to utilize this technology in order to remain competitive.
