Zagga launches a mortgage-backed investment opportunity in Australia with full licences and averages 9.75% p.a net return to investors.
As a fully-licensed, secured marketplace lender, Zagga provides a transparent platform to algorithmically link wholesale/sophisticated investors with creditworthy borrowers. All loans are secured by real property.
During FY17, Zagga had many achievements which included:
- Obtaining both an Australian Credit Licence and an Australian Financial Services Licence in its own name.
- Launching on 28 June 2017 with many positive media mentions across Fintech Business, SMSF Magazine, Financial Standard and Digital Finance Analytics.
- Fully-funded two loan opportunities through the platform within the first week of launch, totalling $8.1M and returning an average of 9.75% p.a net to investors.
