Wizard Power develops world leading Concentrating Solar Power (CSP) technology and licenses it to developers of large-scale energy projects. Its core product is the Big Dish, a multi-purpose, ultra high temperature solar energy delivery platform that provides the world’s most competitive on-demand utility scale solar energy. Aside from electricity generation, it also provides energy for a wide range of high temperature industrial processes. Wizard Power provides a set of complementary technologies – structural Solar Mirror Panels, an energy storage system and an onsite construction system. Stage 1 of the Whyalla Solar Oasis power plant is currently under development, supported by a grant of $60M from the Commonwealth Government.
