MedAdvisor to Launch New Pharmacy Software to Improve Services

  • First phase of this new innovative technology integration of MedAdvisor and Healthnotes now complete, with the first roll out of the new pharmacy technology software underway.
  • The Company has decided to expand in order to assist pharmacies and patients with more “readily and reliable” accessible services.
  • MedAdvisor has planned to settle the OzDocsOnline transaction on the 17th of February 2017.

MedAdvisor is pleased to announce that they have completed their first stage with Healthnotes for the collaboration of the technical integration. This new pharmacy application will be installed into MedAdvisor pharmacies, the rollout is expected to reach existing customers by the 10th of February.

The new technology will be officially launched at the Australian Pharmacy Professional Conference held in March 2017. Further enhancements to the technology will continue throughout FY17 to enhance and establish the software.

Prior to the agreement with Healthnotes, MedAdvisor utilised Guildlink’s pharmacy product; to enable and host the MedAdvisor Application. With their services the Guildlink’s Agreement will come to an end on February 10, 2017 and MedAdvisor will no longer have dependency on the GuildCare Platform for its service.

MedAdvisor has estimated their acquisition with OzDocsOnline to come through on the 17th of February, 2017, which will provide new technologies and expanding their patient network. MedAdvisor is also pleased to also announce the strong network that will come from their GPs that will drive user acquisition of the GP Link Platform.

The CEO of MedAdvisor, Mr Robert Read, commented: “I have been exceptionally pleased with our operational and financial performance over the past year and the first milestone in our technical integration of our software with Healthnotes signifies our evolution as a business […] Overall, this new technology will enable us to assist pharmacies to provide improved healthcare for their patients”.
