Nationwide Insurance, which is a Fortune 100 company based in the United States, will use the platform for their Guaranteed Retirement Income product.

“We are excited to see the impact that introducing Flamingo’s virtual assistant, ROSIE, has on the decision-making process for our customers who are considering Guaranteed Retirement Income from Nationwide.”
This deployment further strengthens the relationship with Nationwide, which has been a client of Flamingo’s since 2015,” Nationwide Innovation Lead Scott Bair said.

Cre8tek, which acquired Flamingo Customer Experience, Inc. in 2016, experienced a 20% surge in the company’s share price to 8.4 cents from 6.9 cents after this was announced. Flamingo, which is an Enterprise SaaS company, has two virtual assistant products called ROSIE and MAGGIE.

Flamingo’s virtual assistant platform is expected to help reduce National’s operational cost.

Investors are, however, cautioned not to take the latest performance of Cre8tek as an indication of its performance in the future. The post-testing of the new product, which influenced the company’s good performance, is subject to unpredictable events and market forces which could affect future performance.
