Long Pipes Recognised as Best Clean Tech Presenter at Venture Summit West 2017

Long Pipes Ltd. has been presented with the Best Presenter Award in the Clean Tech track at Venture Summit West held in Mountain View, CA from February 28 – March 1, 2017, and sponsored by youngStartUp Ventures . The Best Presenter Award was chosen by a distinguished panel of venture capitalists and other investors. Approximately 30 companies involved in Energy Efficiency, Energy Generation, Energy Storage, Energy Infrastructure, Transportation, and Waste & Wastewater presented in the Clean Tech track at Venture Summit West. In addition, more than 600 investors, entrepreneurs and corporate development executives attended Venture Summit West.
Long Pipes Ltd. is an innovative Australian company, based near Perth, WA, which has developed and is beginning to commercialize a revolutionary technology to manufacture a seamless continuous pipeline known as the Fluid HighwayTM. The Fluid HighwayTM will provide a more efficient, cost-effective and reliable alternative to existing pipeline technology in large volume, multiple, rapid production applications over long and short distances. Key markets for the Fluid HighwayTM include the oil & gas, water & slurry transportation, resources and other sectors on a global basis with an initial emphasis on the Australian market to be followed by market entry into North America and the Middle East. Long Pipes Ltd. has successfully completed four commercial pipeline projects in Australia and is currently in discussions with potential customers regarding other larger pipeline projects.
Representing Long Pipes Ltd. at Venture Summit West was Neil Graham, the Company’s CoFounder, Chief Technology Officer and Board member. “It is an honour for Long Pipes to be awarded as the Best Presenter against so many other accomplished clean tech companies, and for the judges to recognize the potential of the Fluid HighwayTM as a solution to many of the problems in the global pipeline market” commented Neil Graham.
In November 2016, Long Pipes Ltd. also received two major awards at the prestigious Australian Technologies Competition held in Sydney, NSW – the Energy Resources Award as well as the People’s Choice Award. The Energy Resources Award recognizes Australia’s top Energy Resources technology company as selected by a distinguished panel of judges from industry, government and the financial community. The People’s Choice Award goes to the top Australian technology company across all sectors as selected by a popular vote of all participants.
