Full House for the First Small Cap Showcase

Yesterday, Wholesale Investor hosted its Sydney Small Cap Showcase for 2017. The atmosphere was electric with 180 attendees as well as over 150 viewers online with this being our first event live-streaming!

The event featured 10 emerging growth companies, all featuring on the ASX. Special guest speaker James Spenceley, CEO of MHOR Asset Management, kicked of the session by highlighting the themes of interest to MHOR and examples of some of their investments.

Domenic Carosa the CEO of Crowd Mobile (ASX:CM8) spoke about the power of “influencer marketing” on social media platforms is replacing the 30 second adverts and the CEO, Executive Director and Founder, Dr. Catriona Wallace from Cre8tek (ASX:CR8) highlighted the role AI can play in online marketing, sales and customer support. Collaborate (ASX:CM8) CEO Chris Noone discussed the value created in the collaboration and sharing economy along with how their investments in the likes Drive My Car are experiencing high growth, through deals with Uber, Subaru and Orix.
